Your Compass Calendar Feeding Your Website

If you're using Compass as your primary calendar, then we can have those dates appear in your website's calendar, automatically. No double entry. Please get in touch if you use Sentral, Google or other 3rd party calendar apps. We can help. Easy! You only manage one calendar and you keep two spaces up to date. The dates will even find their way into your eNews as well. That's three spaces updated.

If you want us to integrate your Compass calendar, just ask Compass to provide your calendar code in the format below (your school's tech may be able to locate the code too inside the Compass admin).

Email Sinead the code at helpdesk@sponsor-ed.com.au

There is a once off charge of $95 plus gst.

Please note that our servers sweep your site every four hours to refresh the calendar updates.

For Google find the iCal code and similar for Sentral.

School Marketing Paper

In one hour you'll change the way you look at marketing. The paper, 'What principals need to know about the principles of school marketing’, took two months and twenty plus years to write. I have attempted to reimagine school marketing.

The paper’s principles remain the same whether you’re trying to arrest an enrolment slide, harbour growth ambitions or are simply more interested in managing perceptions of your school, and success is not predicated on the size of the marketing budget.

If you’ve learned your marketing by working in schools, then it’s time for a reboot.

Below is a very truncated taster of the paper's chapters. If you'd like a copy of the full paper, please add your details for email delivery.

I hope you enjoy the paper

From the Pilbara to Gippsland

Like all of us, we're busy running around getting things done, that you don't really get time to reflect on what you've achieved. So, we had a bit of fun and thought we'd figure out who our two most distanced schools are.

Well honours go to Onslow Primary in the beautiful Pilbara region of WA and Albert St Primary, Moe, amongst the rolling hills of Gippsland. Only a short 50 hour car trip separating the two!

A special mention goes to Roebuck Primary in Broome. By the way, Roebuck and Onslow are just down the road from each other - 11 hours. Are we there yet?

We're so pleased to be serving these schools and the hundreds in between. Check out their websites below and for our Victorian schools, please check out what life is like in a part of Australia not many have had the opportunity to visit.

While we're still land-locked due to COVID, why not think about a trip to the Pilbara and Kimberley region of WA. Here's a link to help you plan your North West WA holiday - click here.

And don't forget a trip to Gippsland too - https://www.visitgippsland.com.au Their wines are delicious.
