Google Analytics can be an extremely useful tool in improving your website’s performance and in determining where you’re connecting with your school community. We've been sending out monthly reports for many years, but these reports are about to become more meaningful.
We've spent some time tailoring a report that we think will suit most schools.
Page ViewsHow many pages are visited on your website during the month by total views and those also by mobile. Fun fact; sponsor-ed schools average a little over 60% of all web visits come from mobiles.
Most Popular PagesListing the 10 most popular pages on your site.
Pages Per SessionHow many pages your users look at during their visit to your site.
Session DurationHow long your users spend on your site.
User TypeNew users (possible enrolments) versus Existing users. Bear in mind that users will be counted as NEW if they have visited your site on one computer, then visited again on a different computer or mobile device.
Page Views by Day of the WeekWhat are the most popular days of the week for your community to visit your site?
These reports will begin rollout this year, but every school should have access to this new report by the start of Term 1, 2020.
