You have the ability to upload a video directly onto your sponsor-ed website.

The system allows your viewers to watch your videos on your website as seen below. The size of the video can be altered in the same way you can now adjust the size of a photo. The video can be posted anywhere on the website; homepage or on any other page. The video application works by first uploading your video onto an external host. You can load your video onto TeacherTube which is likely to be able to be accessed through your school’s computer network. We understand that YouTube is blocked in many schools.

The teachertube video facility will allow you to upload the following file formats;
Video: mpeg, wmv, avi, mov, mpg, flv, mp4, ram
Audio: mp3, wma (50mb limit)
Other external video hosts compatible with sponsor-ed are; vimeo.com, youtube.com
Note: Audio files can only be uploaded using teachertube in the file formats indicated above.
Note: Teachertube is very strict about loading only material of an educational nature. All videos uploaded pass through a moderation process which can take 24 hours. If vimeo.com can be accessed through your school’s network it would be quicker to use this facility. Vimeo only takes video not audio.
