What is the CMS?
A CMS (Content Management System) means you can access a website and update it, social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter have a CMS so their users can update their pages. Every sponsor-ed website has a CMS and when the site is created for a school, several school staff are invited to login to the CMS and have access to updating their website.
As the years roll on, staff leave, new staff arrive and like everyone, people forget their passwords and forget how to access the CMS to update their site.
To help CMS users refresh their skills and to introduce new school staff to effectively using the CMS, we have developed a 2 hour training module that can be done either by phone conference or in-person. The session is $200 which covers all phone conference training and in-person training within all Melbourne metropolitan areas.* The phone Conference training accommodates up to 4 people and the in-person training for up to 8 people. The $200 is for the session, not per person.
The 2 hour session will cover topics such as:
- Creating main, secondary and tertiary navigation tabs
- The difference between tagging and texting
- Hyperlinking
- Publishing techniques and layouts
- Newsletter alert training
